“Tha sole purpose of Save The Light, Inc is to save the Morris Island Lighthouse,(which is actually owned by the State of SC). This project is expected to take several years primarily due to the necessity of raising funds. To date, we have spent in excess of $5.7 million on phases one and two. the next phase will not be implemented until sufficient funds are raised. Future expenditures are estimated to be in excess of $3.0 million. During 2013, there were no project expenditures made. However in 2013 the Board of Directors was active in fund raising that resulted in raising $130 thousand included in line L on page one of the 990-EZ.”

This project is expected to take several years primarily due to the necessity of raising funds. To date, we have spent in excess of $5.7 million on phases one and two. the next phase will not be implemented until sufficient funds are raised. Future expenditures are estimated to be in excess of $3.0 million. During 2013, there were no project expenditures made. However in 2013 the Board of Directors was active in fund raising that resulted in raising $130 thousand included in line L on page one of the 990-EZ. |
