“Tha sole purpose of Save The Light, Inc is to save the Morris Island Lighthouse,(which is actually owned by the State of SC). This project is expected to take several years primarily due to the necessity of raising funds. To date, we have spent in excess of $5.7 million on phases one and two. The next phase will not be implemented until sufficient funds are raised. Future expenditures are estimated to be in excess of $3.0 million. During 2016 project expenditures minimal and amounted to $17,369. In 2016 the Board of Directors was active in fund raising that resulted in raising $356 thousand included in part 1,line 19 on page one of the 990.”

This project is expected to take several years primarily due to the necessity of raising funds. To date, we have spent in excess of $5.7 million on phases one and two. The next phase will not be implemented until sufficient funds are raised. Future expenditures are estimated to be in excess of $3.0 million. During 2016 project expenditures minimal and amounted to $17,369. In 2016 the Board of Directors was active in fund raising that resulted in raising $356 thousand included in part 1,line 19 on page one of the 990. |
