See schedule oemploymentthe employment department connects candidates with appropriate employment opportunities. Toward that goal, counselors seek to make candidates interview and job-ready. After a specific in-take process, candidates meet with an employment counselor to assess the employment-search goals and methods. Employment counselors then make suggestions for improvement in specific areas; the resume is reviewed and revised, interview skills are evaluated, job-search strategies are analyzed and specific goals are set. In 2010, the employment department serviced approximately 2334 candidates. Of these, approximately 450 were in-house candidates who worked directly with the employment counselors. The project ezrah employment team was instrumental in finding employment for 26% of these candidates.counselors encourage candidates to re-invent and re-focus themselves by taking project ezrah's free courses and by learning the skills required for high demand occupations. With this focus on training and having the candidate match their skills with real job opportunities, counselors may connect candidates with specific appropriate employment opportunities, if available. The employment department continuously works on developing relationships with prospective employers, thereby allowing the project ezrah candidate direct entree when a job becomes available.all candidates are encouraged to make frequent visits to the project ezrah interactive job board which posted over 700 jobs in 2010.project ezrah also hosts a linkedin group to promote networking and to expand each candidate's own network of contacts
