Mission and Program Overview
Mission
The american bus association is the trade association uniting like no other travel trade group the motorcoach, tourism, group travel and equipment segments of the travel community. In that role, aba acts to expand the scope of bus service to those with access to no other travel choice, fill in intermodal gaps in the network of transportation services, educate groups of all ages through experiential trips that take them to iconic and historical destinations, and to infuse tourism dollars into every attraction a group tour visits by bus. Aba also seeks to educate policy-makers, the media and consumers about the attributes of motorcoach travel as the safest, greenest, most cost-effective and hassle-free transportation choice.

- Aba works on our members' behalf to provide information on the entire spectrum of legislative and regulatory issues at both the federal and state levels that affects the motorcoach industry.
- Activity 3
- Aba policies are developed by the aba policy committee and approved by the aba board of directors and set forth the policy positions of aba on a variety of regulatory and legislative issues affecting the motorcoach industry. Aba works with its members to create position papers on key issues affecting the motorcoach industry.
