Voting and elections-led successful campaigns to eliminate hurdles for eligible voters in california, connecticut, colorado, and maryland by passing same day voter registration.-led campaigns to win and implement online voter registration in hawaii and illinois which will increase the accuracy of the voter registration lists and save millions of dollars for state officials.

Activity 3

Ethics, transparency, and accountability in government-fought for stronger post-citizens united disclosure and electioneering laws in many states, for example:-in georgia, worked with the league of women voters, georgia tea party patriots, and georgia conservatives in action and others to pass a bill establishing a $75 limit on lobbyist gifts and strengthening requirements to register with the state's government transparency and campaign finance commission.-in connecticut, won passage of an act to reform and modernize state disclosure laws.-in maryland, won passage of legislation that increases public access to ethics and conflict of interest information filed by state legislators and sets up a task force regarding disclosure of legislators' financial information. -in new mexico, passed a bill that requires notices of public meetings to be posted at least 72 hours in advance, and also to be electronically posted on websites.-worked to build support for federal legislation to hold the u.s. Supreme court accountable under the code of conduct for u.s. Judges.
