Voting and elections-in california, passed election day registration (edr) in the house and senate.-in connecticut, led successful effort to pass an edr bill that also includes online voter registration. -in hawaii, passed an online registration bill. Fought moves to pass photo voter id legislation in numerous states, for example, filed amicus brief in legal challenge to pennsylvania's state photo voter id law and in michigan, filed litigation to keep id requirements off ballot, and defeated voter id and other measures in north carolina.

Ethics, transparency, and accountability in government-worked to build support for federal legislation to hold the u.s. Supreme court accountable under the code of conduct for u.s. Judges.-in maryland, won passage of legislation that approves an online system by which citizens can access ethics and conflicts of information forms filed by state legislators and also establishes a task force to study improved access for financial disclosure information required of legislators. -in georgia, working with the georgia tea party patriots, georgia conservatives in action and others, convinced the executive committee of the george republican party to place a question limiting lobbyist's gifts to $100 on their july 31st primary ballot.
