“PART III: ORGANIZATION'S PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE 2020-2021: WHAT IS 168 FILM: 168 Film is a Faith-based artist incubator, which includes worldwide filmmaking and writing competitions. We assist emerging artists by equipping them vocationally and spiritually. We aim to make great art for the world to enjoy. We have been a tremendous boost and advantage to our community, seeding the clouds with filmmakers of faith since 2003. We have gotten in touch with many of the good the filmmakers of faith in this country and in others, and we have made them better artists by giving them good opportunities and exciting rewards. After over 1,100 bible-based films in 17 years, we are a catalyst for change for Hollywood and ultimately, the world. We want to challenge the existing perception of faith-based art, to act as a beacon for weary Christians and to draw others to the truth. The pace and difficulty of our speed filmmaking competition shapes people quickly, driving them toward a better understanding of the Word of God and toward mastery of their craft. PART III, LINE 28: PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS 2019-2020: The 2020 168 Project and Film Festival were cancelled. Pushing the "pause" button allowed us the time to reflect on our past and to plan for our future. We elected to pare down expenses and weather the storm of the bat virus disaster and all of the things that it changed in our lives and in our way of doing business. The Lord has taken care of 168 and happily; we are back in business in 2021. Since 2003, 168 Film has served as an incubator for filmmakers to learn and develop their craft. Over 1,100 films have been made by tens of thousands of artists. Many more have been touched in the worldwide audience. Great artists have been launched and are now working in the industry, making God-honoring shows. 168 has been no less than an explosion in the community for 18 years! The 168 Mission is: To illuminate the Word of God through the medium of film and to assist emerging artists by equipping them professionally and spiritually. The need for the 168 mission and ethos has never been greater. Just turn on the TV and you will see why we are needed. We must continue to train up an army of faithful artists to push back and to create Godly alternatives to the programming foisted upon our children.”

“Our First Feature Film - Distributed! "Final Frequency" is our first feature length film made by 168 graduates under the 8168 Productions banner. As 168 hours is a week, 8168 hours is about a year. The film will soon be available everywhere. In this film, we see the realization of the dream we have had since 2003, to make feature films and TV with a Christian worldview. Its foundation is an idea from scripture. "Final Frequency" asks the question: Are all men and women are created equal or do some deserve special privileges and have more worth? "Final Frequency" Synopsis: A phD student investigates unusual seismic activity in Los Angeles, leading to a cabal of elitist scientists, who plan to weaponize Nikola Tesla's most secret research to manipulate earthquakes and collapse downtown L.A. We congratulate the "8168 Feature Film Pitch Competition" winner and our film's director Tim Lowry, who worked with the producers (Derrick Warfel and John David Ware) and with writer Penny Gibben to shape Christine Fry's original idea into a feature film that is now being distributed. Many 168 "graduates" were used on the cast and crew. Accomplishments and New Directions: We are excited to see what 2021 will bring. We are confident that the "onlining" of the 168 Film Festival will open us up to a whole new range of possibilities for future growth.”
