The day-to-day management responsibilities has been contracted through the young women's christian association northeast tennessee and southwest virginia dba ywca netn and swva located at 106 state street, bristol, tn 37620. The services the ywca provided to the organization, include, organizing and supervising the day-to-day business operations of the premises-rental agreements, price structure, approval of invoices, negotiations with suppliers, approval of employee timesheets, etc.; receiving monies from rental agreements and other sources and remitting same to subsidiary on a weekly basis; developing standard operational procedures and guidelines regarding the management, rental, and maintenance of the premises for consistency in operational oversight; marketing the premises' rental spaces including tours, and website, print and social media; providing human resources management, including supervising and recommending the hiring and retention of employees, and developing job descriptions, dress code, and policies; supervising the preparation of the premises before, during, and after functions, as needed; supervising routine maintenance and repairs of the premises (but the foundation expressly withholds from ywca any power or authority to make any structual change in the bristol train station or to make any other major alterations or additions in or to the bristol train station or fixtures or equipment therein).

The bylaws were amended effective april, 30, 2019. The amendments were not significant or substantive. The prior bylaws were enacted in 1999 and the intent of the amendment was to bring provisions of the bylaws such as participation by telephone or electronics current.

The organization consistantly monitors compliance with the conflict of interest policy. The conflict is acknowledged at meetings for all to be aware and put in the minutes for documentation. If there are purchases and a board member submits a bid, there are other quotes requested from competing companies and the board chooses the best choice based upon those bids received.
