“The conflict of interest policy covers all board members. After the initial policy is signed, board members are asked to disclose if anything changes each year. As of 12/31/2024, there have been no changes, and no conflicts of interest have been determined.”
“Ptp does not automatically provide annual salary increases; the determination is first made based upon the organizational budget as to whether salary increases may be possible. In the case of a salary increase, the board reviews and approves the executive director's salary and the executive director typically reviews and approves any increase for the other staff at the organization. Organizational budget is a top factor in determining whether a salary increase is possible, other factors that may be considered are comparisons with other salary levels throughout the social justice sector for each job category or title, and staff performance. No outside consultant is used for salary determinations, the board or executive director makes the decisions, but outside information like salary levels sector-wide for our size organization may be considered. There has been various cost of living increases over the last 10 years and in 2023, because the staff had not had a salary increase in several years, the board approved a modest 3% increase for all staff. The last compensation survey that was conducted was prior to 2015.”
