Form 990 is presented to the treasurer for review. Upon their approval it is submitted to the full board for approval. “Up coming large project is the corey ingram roundabout project. The organization is currently working with mass design group in securing funding for the corey ingram roundabout project. The name of this roundabout is dedicated to the memory of corey ingram, a 28-year old poughkeepsie native who was killed in the line of duty while serving as a navy technician. The traffic circle is a memorial to his dedication to service, kindness and love of his hometown. The goal of this project is to transform the northside roundabout to a welcoming gateway for the city of poughkeepsie. Plans include an illuminated structure with the name "poughkeepsie" visible from both sides, along with a sidewalk of plaques of leaders who have made significant contributions to the community. This project is also providing poughkeepsie high school students the opportunity to intern and learn specific trade skills with a metal vendor that will be working on the project. The total cost of the project is estimated to be 150,000.”
