“Creative lives helps children prepare for their future and thrive in body, mind, and spirit through a holistic approach to teaching and parenting. We offer training programs for adults nationally in "a framework for wise education." this pioneering approach by educator ellen tadd helps individuals of all ages better understand themselves and each other. Adults trained in the framework approach gain greater agency in their own learning and well-being and are uniquely adept at supporting the same for children and teens. Here is a sampling of data from our 2024-25 cohort training program, where teams of adults became certified in the framework approach together: 81% of adult learners reported they are regularly joyful in their work, as compared with 30% pre-training. 80% reported they regularly make wise decisions in their work with children, as compared with 33% pre-training. 93% reported strongly agree they are better able to help children learn and develop their unique potential as a result of this training. Overall, learners indicated an average 40% improvement in their ability to support children's development within each of seven categories in our framework approach. As one educator shared: "i have experience so many benefits of this training, personally and professionally, and for the children i work with. But it's also important to share how much i have witnessed my colleagues grow through taking these courses. One of our staff was a more quiet, timid version of herself at the start of the training. Now, she has found her voice with the team and with the kids. Our children live in challenging times and must learn to navigate a fast-changing world as they move into adulthood. We want to help our youth tap their full potential to learn, develop their gifts - and lead contributive lives. The question is how. Ellen tadd's framework for wise education provides a unique solution. The framework is based on tadd's discoveries about our human energy (chakra) system and its fundamental role in human development. Tadd distills her discoveries into seven categories to address in offering a complete, whole child approach: inspiration, focus, self-esteem, good intentions, emotional well-being, identity in the world, and discipline. Adults in our program learn strategies, attitudes, tools, and environments that support good function in each category and enhance the teaching of any subject. Creative lives is currently engaged in developing self-paced workshops, courses, and supporting tools that allow us to scale our approach and support many more children and adults annually.”
