Deaths from suicide, gun violence, overdose, and illnesses including covid-19 are regular headlines, yet bereavement and bereavement care remain absent in our public health dialogues. Bereavement is an invisible crisis.evermore is the only organization in the nation working to change the social paradigm of death and bereavement. We are the nation's central resource for bereavement care policies and standards. It is the gravitational center for organized citizenship and local empowerment. It sets a coordinated, national agenda and strategy, and facilitates institutional change among the public and private sector in the united states for all american families.thanks to efforts across the country, evermore successfully advocated for and won inclusion of bereavement care as a health priority in the 2021 federal budget for 2021.
