Continuation of psa 4a."cleaning and safety" the district promotes a safe environment through coordination with oakland police department and engagement with stakeholders and professional security teams. Together we work towards community safety goals such as improved pedestrian experience, reduction of auto burglaries, improved fixtures such as lighting. The district hosts the beat 1x ncpc meetings, its safety ambassador team observes and reports safety issues, deterring unwanted and unsafe street behavior, coordinates with opd and provides safety and crime prevention information to the public.
