“Gain on extinguishment of PPP Loan i.e. PPP Loan Forgiveness Bridges received two 32,000 PPP Loans April 2020 and January 2021. Bridges qualified for SBA PPP Loan Forgiveness for both loans October 2020 and the June 2021 respectively, as these funds were used to continue to pay employees and maintain facilities even while operations were shut down. As the first PPP Loan was forgiven in 2020, this income is treated as a gain on the extinguishment of the PPP Loan per FASB ASC Topic 470, Debt.”

“Workforce Division continued We dont see limitations or inabilities we only see pathways to the next success. Placing the customer with qualified staff allows us to focus on their unique strengths, resources, priorities, concerns, abilities, capabilities, interests and informed choice. Bridges places its focus for the workforce team on the following disciplinesVocational Assessment, Environmental Work Assessment, Supported Employment Assessment. These services are designed to find an individuals strengths and interests so we can help them find a job they want to do one they can do. Assessments usually require 20 to 30 hours observing clients in various environments. They are a very useful tool to help clients find fully inclusive, full pay employment with their peers.”
“Personal Social Adjustment Evaluation/Training PSAT is a program that allows a job coach to work with a client that needs more assistance and isnt quite ready for employment. Pre-employment skills can be worked on daily for several months and address timeliness, social etiquette, understanding different types of relationships, managing transportation and any other skills the client might need. Work Adjustment Evaluation Training WAT is an on-the-job training program where clients work one on one with a job coach or in a group of 6 with a job coach. This program really helps clients see what it is like to go to work every day. They are exposed to the daily routines and requirements of job without the added pressure of employment. Most WAT is done in a volunteer environment.”
“Vocational Adjustment Training VAT are educational classes that are given in a 1 to 6 ratio and include the following topics Explore the YOU in Work, Soft Skills to Pay the Bills, Soft Skills for Work Success, Entering the World of Work, Preparing for a Job Search Training, Disability Disclosure Training, Money Smart, A Financial Education Training and Public Transportation Training.”

Job Skills and Vocational Training provide a job coach to be with clients once they secure employment until they no longer need assistance. One critical aspect of Bridges Workforce Division is that we offer lifetime services to clients. This gives individuals a lifeline outside of their worksite and family to reach out to if they are struggling with a new boss, coworker or any other issue that threatens their employment. Our job retention specialist does not just trouble shoot they help with budgeting or understanding insurance and 401K and in best case scenarios we help secure promotions During the years of 2018-2020, we were able to provide 1,835 hours of Autism support, 2,175 hours of job coaching, 24,007 hours of curriculum-based academics and 70 client job placements.”
“Bridges Bazaar Continued Three, we donate items to those in need. In 2021 we gave over 2,500 dollars in materials to various entities or individuals. For example, a single father with 4 children one with a disability was given clothing, toys, bedding, formal ware for a funeral they needed to attend and other items to help the children with back-to-school needs. Twenty-two cases of adult diapers went to the senior center for them to distribute. Books are offered to teachers for free and toys are sent to two different day cares for children, all at no cost. Two volunteers love to work in our thrift store They always walk away with a smile and a purchase. It is a wonderful way to expose nondisabled to individuals with disabilities. Bridges hosted 41 volunteers for a total of 436 volunteer hours. Lastly, and likely the most important is the Bazaar is a safe environment for clients to learn work skills. It is a huge confidence booster to come to work and feel welcome, to come to work and accomplish alongside a coworker. We have a collaborative program with the local high school form them to bring students with disabilities to work in our store learning retail skills before they even graduate.”
“Unsecured Loans the 133,800 is an Economic Injury Disaster Loan EIDL Bridges procured from the Small Business Administration SBA to assist with cashflow due to the Covid-19 virus effectively shutting down operations from March to October in 2020. | IRS990/Desc | 0 | Day Habilitation January 1 to December 31 of 2021, Bridges was unable to provide services via this program as a result of the CDC regulations over this population requiring them to shelter in place. This ruling was not eased until November 2021, however the CDC still highly suggested that anyone with underlying heath conditions or concerns continue to practice sheltering. Unfortunately, most of our clients have various underlying health issues and needed to continue sheltering in place. |

It does not matter if it is a donor or a customer, coming face to face with people on a daily basis gives us a chance to talk about our mission.
