“10bitworks is a non-profit, membership-supported project space and learning center concept known as a hackerspace. 10bitworks is located in san antonio, texas as a garage-lab environment where hobbyists get together to make their own creations whether practical, experimental, or just for fun. Those hobbyists mentor each other and others in the domains of engineering, science, design and art.”

“Due to covid 19 restrictions, the organization was open for limited hours and fewer students/members were allowed in at one time due to the social distancing mandate. Towards latter part of the year, 2 classes of welding were held. Saysi (a local youth based non profit organization) conducted laser cutting at the organization's location. With the use of the laser cutter, numerous art projects were completed to be used at their new location. Both students and instructors remotely taught how to use the laser cutter. Approximately 14 art projects were completed by year end.”
