“10bitworks is a non-profit, membership-supported project space and learning center concept known as a hackerspace. 10bitworks is located in san antonio, texas as a garage-lab environment where hobbyists get together to make their own creations whether practical, experimental, or just for fun. Those hobbyists mentor each other and others in the domains of engineering, science, design and art.”

“Provide an environment where hobbyists get together to make their own creations as well as to mentor each other in the domains of engineering, science, design and art. In 2019, several welding classes were held teaching 27 students in the utsa engingeering dept. The organization worked with the "wounded warrior angels" to teach veterans various craft skill such as laser cutting, engraving and ceramics. Five ceramic classes were held in 2019. The organization participated in various community events demonstrating equipment, astronomy software, microcontroller programming and racing quadcopters. The organization offered their meeting space free of charge to other organizations throughout the year.”
