The mission of ranchin' vets is to assist post-9/11 veterans in their transition from military to civilian life through a variety of programs offered within the agricultural industry.

IN 2020 THERE WAS AN UPSURGE IN VETERANS PARTICIPATING IN OUR PROGRAM WHO HAVE EXPRESSED A DESIRE TO PURSUE A CAREER IN AGRICULTURE, SPECIFICALLY IN SUSTAINABLE, SMALL-SCALE, ORGANIC FARMING, AND LIVESTOCK PRODUCTION. DURING 2020, 85% OF VETERANS WE SERVED WERE INCLINED TO SEEK PERMANENT EMPLOYMENT WITHIN THE AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY. ACKNOWLEDGING THESE TRENDS, WE HAVE ENHANCED OUR OPERATION HIRE A VET PROGRAM BY DEVELOPING ADDITIONAL PARTNERSHIPS TO MAKE THESE RESOURCES AVAILABLE TO OUR VETERANS. AN AGRICULTURAL EXPERIENCE HAS A PURPOSEFUL EFFECT ON THE LIFE OF A VETERAN TRANSITIONING OUT OF THE MILITARY. RANCHIN' VETS PROVIDES A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY FOR VETERANS IN OUR PROGRAM TO DEVELOP EITHER A CAREER WITHIN THE AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY, OR TO ADVANCE THEIR SKILLS OR EDUCATION WHILE EMPLOYED ON A RANCH OR FARM. SEVERAL VETERANS WHO FORMERLY PARTICIPATED IN OUR PROGRAM RETURNED TO THEIR RESPECTIVE RANCHES AFTER BEING FURLOUGHED BY THEIR EMPLOYERS DUE TO COVID. THE RANCHERS' WILLINGNESS TO REHIRE THESE VETERANS IS A TESTAMENT TO THE QUALITY OF THEIR RELATIONSHIPS AND THE QUALITY OF THE WORK THE VETERAN ACHIEVED DURING THEIR TIME WITH THE RANCHER. THROUGH OUR STREAMLINED VETERAN REGISTRATION AND AGRICULTURAL EMPLOYER OPPORTUNITY SUBMISSION PROCESS WE HAVE INCREASED OUR VETERAN PROGRAM PARTICIPATION BY OVER 63%, SERVING VETERANS IN 17 STATES. OF THE VETERANS WE SERVED IN 2020, 92% OF THEM ACCOMPLISHED FIVE OF THE SEVEN MEASURES OF SUCCESS. THE VETERANS' ASSESSMENT OF OUR PROGRAM HAS REMAINED POSITIVE SINCE THE INCEPTION OF OUR PROGRAM; CLEARLY DEMONSTRATING THAT VETERANS THRIVE IN JOB OPPORTUNITIES WITHIN THE AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY. OF NOTE, DURING 2020, A VETERAN CALLED TO THANK US AND DESCRIBED THAT RANCHIN' VETS PROVIDED STRUCTURE AND DISCIPLINE AT A POINT WHEN HE WAS STRUGGLING WITH HIS TRANSITION OUT OF THE MARINE CORPS. AFTER HIS INTRODUCTION TO RANCHIN' VETS, AND HIS PARTICIPATION IN OUR PROGRAM, HE ENROLLED IN LOYOLA MARYMOUNT UNDER THE GI BILL. HE GRADUATED LAST YEAR MAGNA CUM LAUDE AND IS NOW ENROLLED IN THEIR EDUCATION GRADUATE PROGRAM AND HOPES TO BEGIN TEACHING UPON COMPLETION. NO GREATER TESTAMENT TO THE SUCCESS OF RANCHIN VETS IS THAT 60% OF THE VETERANS WE HAVE WORKED WITH HAVE REFERRED OUR ORGANIZATION TO FELLOW VETERANS. The mission of ranchin' vets is to assist post-9/11 veterans in their transition from military to civilian life through a variety of programs offered within the agricultural industry.

In 2020 there was an upsurge in veterans participating in our program who have expressed a desire to pursue a career in agriculture, specifically in sustainable, small-scale, organic farming, and livestock production. During 2020, 85% of veterans we served were inclined to seek permanent employment within the agricultural industry. Acknowledging these trends, we have enhanced our operation hire a vet program by developing additional partnerships to make these resources available to our veterans. An agricultural experience has a purposeful effect on the life of a veteran transitioning out of the military. Ranchin' vets provides a unique opportunity for veterans in our program to develop either a career within the agricultural industry, or to advance their skills or education while employed on a ranch or farm. Several veterans who formerly participated in our program returned to their respective ranches after being furloughed by their employers due to covid. The ranchers' willingness to rehire these veterans is a testament to the quality of their relationships and the quality of the work the veteran achieved during their time with the rancher. Through our streamlined veteran registration and agricultural employer opportunity submission process we have increased our veteran program participation by over 63%, serving veterans in 17 states. Of the veterans we served in 2020, 92% of them accomplished five of the seven measures of success. Each measure independently contributes to the overall success of veterans in our program, while providing a total performance outcome of how we assess the service we provide to those we serve. The veterans' assessment of our program has remained positive since the inception of our program; clearly demonstrating that veterans thrive in job opportunities within the agricultural industry. Of note, during 2020, a veteran called to thank us and described that ranchin' vets provided structure and discipline at a point when he was struggling with his transition out of the marine corps. After his introduction to ranchin' vets, and his participation in our program, he enrolled in loyola marymount under the gi bill. He graduated last year magna cum laude and is now enrolled in their education graduate program and hopes to begin teaching upon completion. No greater testament to the success of ranchin vets is that 60% of the veterans we have worked with have referred our organization to fellow veterans. We are proud of our mentorship support services, which is built upon the bond of veterans trusting other veterans. Our board sees the peer communication between veterans as an intricate part of our operation hire a vet program, which is why, in 2020 we added an additional veteran to our board of directors. Through our platform development in 2020 we are increasing our outreach to more effectively engage our veteran board of directors members with the veterans registered in our program and see this as an opportunity of growth in 2021. Ranchin' vets has a strong and financially supportive board of directors. We attained 60% of revenue goals despite the pandemic affecting all of our fundraising events and reduced our expenses by 40%. Our donors and grants funded 90% of the program expenses. We assured, under the direction of our board of directors, that we remained fiscally competent throughout the challenges brought on by the pandemic, without adversely affecting our program.

THROUGH OUR STREAMLINED VETERAN REGISTRATION AND AGRICULTURAL EMPLOYER OPPORTUNITY SUBMISSION PROCESS WE HAVE INCREASED OUR VETERAN PROGRAM PARTICIPATION BY OVER 63%, SERVING VETERANS IN 17 STATES. OF THE VETERANS WE SERVED IN 2020, 92% OF THEM ACCOMPLISHED FIVE OF THE SEVEN MEASURES OF SUCCESS. EACH MEASURE INDEPENDENTLY CONTRIBUTES TO THE OVERALL SUCCESS OF VETERANS IN OUR PROGRAM, WHILE PROVIDING A TOTAL PERFORMANCE OUTCOME OF HOW WE ASSESS THE SERVICE WE PROVIDE TO THOSE WE SERVE. THE VETERANS' ASSESSMENT OF OUR PROGRAM HAS REMAINED POSITIVE SINCE THE INCEPTION OF OUR PROGRAM; CLEARLY DEMONSTRATING THAT VETERANS THRIVE IN JOB OPPORTUNITIES WITHIN THE AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY. OF NOTE, DURING 2020, A VETERAN CALLED TO THANK US AND DESCRIBED THAT RANCHIN' VETS PROVIDED STRUCTURE AND DISCIPLINE AT A POINT WHEN HE WAS STRUGGLING WITH HIS TRANSITION OUT OF THE MARINE CORPS. AFTER HIS INTRODUCTION TO RANCHIN' VETS, AND HIS PARTICIPATION IN OUR PROGRAM, HE ENROLLED IN LOYOLA MARYMOUNT UNDER THE GI BILL. HE GRADUATED LAST YEAR MAGNA CUM LAUDE AND IS NOW ENROLLED IN THEIR EDUCATION GRADUATE PROGRAM AND HOPES TO BEGIN TEACHING UPON COMPLETION. NO GREATER TESTAMENT TO THE SUCCESS OF RANCHIN VETS IS THAT 60% OF THE VETERANS WE HAVE WORKED WITH HAVE REFERRED OUR ORGANIZATION TO FELLOW VETERANS. WE ARE PROUD OF OUR MENTORSHIP SUPPORT SERVICES, WHICH IS BUILT UPON THE BOND OF VETERANS TRUSTING OTHER VETERANS. OUR BOARD SEES THE PEER COMMUNICATION BETWEEN VETERANS AS AN INTRICATE PART OF OUR OPERATION HIRE A VET PROGRAM, WHICH IS WHY, IN 2020 WE ADDED AN ADDITIONAL VETERAN TO OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS. THROUGH OUR PLATFORM DEVELOPMENT IN 2020 WE ARE INCREASING OUR OUTREACH TO MORE EFFECTIVELY ENGAGE OUR VETERAN BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEMBERS WITH THE VETERANS REGISTERED IN OUR PROGRAM AND SEE THIS AS AN OPPORTUNITY OF GROWTH IN 2021. RANCHIN' VETS HAS A STRONG AND FINANCIALLY SUPPORTIVE BOARD OF DIRECTORS. WE ATTAINED 60% OF REVENUE GOALS DESPITE THE PANDEMIC AFFECTING ALL OF OUR FUNDRAISING EVENTS AND REDUCED OUR EXPENSES BY 40%. OUR DONORS AND GRANTS FUNDED 90% OF THE PROGRAM EXPENSES. DURING 2020, 85% OF VETERANS WE SERVED WERE INCLINED TO SEEK PERMANENT EMPLOYMENT WITHIN THE AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY. ACKNOWLEDGING THESE TRENDS, WE HAVE ENHANCED OUR OPERATION HIRE A VET PROGRAM BY DEVELOPING ADDITIONAL PARTNERSHIPS TO MAKE THESE RESOURCES AVAILABLE TO OUR VETERANS. AN AGRICULTURAL EXPERIENCE HAS A PURPOSEFUL EFFECT ON THE LIFE OF A VETERAN TRANSITIONING OUT OF THE MILITARY. RANCHIN' VETS PROVIDES A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY FOR VETERANS IN OUR PROGRAM TO DEVELOP EITHER A CAREER WITHIN THE AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY, OR TO ADVANCE THEIR SKILLS OR EDUCATION WHILE EMPLOYED ON A RANCH OR FARM. SEVERAL VETERANS WHO FORMERLY PARTICIPATED IN OUR PROGRAM RETURNED TO THEIR RESPECTIVE RANCHES AFTER BEING FURLOUGHED BY THEIR EMPLOYERS DUE TO COVID. THE RANCHERS' WILLINGNESS TO REHIRE THESE VETERANS IS A TESTAMENT TO THE QUALITY OF THEIR RELATIONSHIPS AND THE QUALITY OF THE WORK THE VETERAN ACHIEVED DURING THEIR TIME WITH THE RANCHER.
