In addition, should a potential conflict arise during the year, interested parties are required to disclose the situation as soon as possible. The board as a whole is responsible for monitoring and enforcing the policy. If a conflict of interest is determined to exist, interested parties are required to excuse themselves from the discussions and any following vote of the board. The President and Chairman review the signed COI statements.”

“Save the Storks is a young, rapidly growing company aggressively pursuing their mission. The short term result of this exponential growth has been higher fund raising and administration costs in the present as they are catching up with yesterday and building for tomorrow.”
“ORGANIZATIONAL MISSION STATEMENT The mission at Save the Storks is to revolutionize the meaning of pro-life. Stork sponsor growth in 2017 increased by approximately 800. In 2016, we had 2,598 Stork sponsors. In 2017 we ended with a total of 3,410 Stork sponsors. In 2017, Save the Storks received approximately $700,000 to help cover administrative and overhead costs. The Need for Save the Storks Every day in the United States, nearly 2,000 abortions take place. Women are told that being pro-choice is their "right and society gives the impression that "my body, my choice" equates to an abortion being the only option for women facing an unwanted pregnancy. According to the Center for Disease & Control/U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (2014): - Women in their twenties account for the majority of abortions. - Women with no previous live births accounted for 40.4% of abortions - Women with one or more previous live births accounted for 59.5% of abortions Other statistics: - One in three women in the United States will have an abortion before she turns 45 - 75% of women who have abortions live in poverty - 64% of women who have had abortions felt pressured by others to abort - 54% of women who have had abortions said they were unsure about their decision at the time - 79% of women reported that they did not receive counseling on other options - Post-abortive women report suicidal thoughts, anxiety and signs of PTSD - 73.8% of women experienced "pressure" to abort their babies - 58.3% chose abortion "to make others happy" Planned Parenthood receives over $1.3 billion in funding and donations annually, with $833 million from government revenue and health services. In addition to financial support from the United States government, the following corporations have contributed money directly to Planned Parenthood: - Allstate - American Express - Avon - Bank of America - Bath & Body Works - Charles Schwab - Craigslist - Dockers - Energizer - ExxonMobil - Frito Lay - General Electric - Jiffy Lube - Johnson & Johnson (brands include baby shampoo, lotion, and dozens of baby products) - Kraft Heinz - Microsoft - Mondelez International (Brands include children's favorite snacks: Chips Ahoy!, Oreo, Nabisco, Cadbury, Toblerone chocolate) The largest search engine in the world, Google, with over 3.5 billion searches a day, sponsored Planned Parenthood at the culturally relevant SXSW (South by Southwest) festival in Texas. Google repeatedly serves up favorable returns that depict abortions as a friendly, positive right. Verbiage on the results page for pro-choice mentions "top stories and "abortion-rights movement" with a photo of people smiling holding a sign. In contrast, the term "pro-life" in a Google search returns negative terminology such as "anti-abortion and "activist and images that portrays angry protestors. Guttmacher, the organization that bills itself as a "think tank" for women's reproductive rights, issued several misleading press releases in 2017 intended to sway public opinion and distract Americans from the truth about abortions: "Abortion Is a Common Experience for U.S. Women" (October 2017) "Many Abortion Restrictions Have No Rigorous Scientific Basis (May 2017) "Barriers to Abortion Care May Have Cumulative Negative Effects (April 2017) "Abortion Coverage Restrictions Affect Millions of Women (January 2017) The need is greater now than ever to come alongside abortion-vulnerable women in the United States who are continually bombarded with untruths and twisted facts from Planned Parenthood and other liberal-leaning corporations who position themselves as mainstream. Planned Parenthood spent millions supporting lobbyists and democrats in the 2016 elections and reportedly spends nearly $200 million a year on marketing and advertising. Save the Storks has helped save the lives of thousands of babies since 2010, when founder Joe Baker was volunteering for a pregnancy resource center in the Bronx. Inspired by an old van eq”

In just four months, this Stork Bus served 24 clients, and 16 of these clients chose life for their baby. . Stork Bus Testimonials November 2017 On a cold November morning our Stork Bus was parked outside the late term abortion clinic in New Mexico. The parking lot was full of out of town license plates. A truck pulled in with Colorado plates. A young girl got out of the car with an older couple. They all looked scared and confused. The spoke with someone from the PRC there on the sidewalk and agreed to come over and talk with the staff on the bus before their abortion appointment. We welcomed them in to the warm bus and asked them to tell us their story. The young girl (Missy) was pregnant and in her second trimester. Missy was a 15 years old high school sophomore. She was with her parents. They had taken her to Mexico to get an ultrasound and now were here in New Mexico for her abortion. She began to share how scared she was about being pregnant. She said she wanted to finish high school. Missy also shared that the baby's Dad wasn't involved. As she talked she relaxed a little and began to smile as the staff asked questions. One of the staff members asked if she could share her experience with the family and they said yes. The staff member shared that she had just retired after 30 years as an Engineer . But 40 years ago she was facing the same decision as Missy. She was 15 and pregnant. She kept her baby and went to a school for pregnant teens. She went to college and had had a good career and an amazing family. She shared about her children and grandchildren she had because of that choice. She told Missy "It won't be easy but it will be amazing." Missy and her parents were encouraged and asked a lot of questions about school and pregnancy. The staff also began to show the family information about fetal development and what Missy's baby was doing at that moment. Missy shared that she had seen the baby sucking its thumb during her Ultrasound in Mexico. Missy's parent told her they would chose life for their grandchild but it was her decision. Missy said she wanted to keep the baby and stay in school but she was nervous about the baby not having a father figure. When she said that, her Dad came over and took her hand and said I will be that man in your child's life. She began to cry (so did some of the staff). Missy said "I want to keep the baby". Her parents were very excited. We all prayed together then we gave the family contact information for local pregnancy centers in their area so they would have support when they got home. They thanked the staff and advocates and began their long trip home. God has a purpose and a plan. He put the right people in the right place so Missy could hear what she needed to hear to choose life. July 2017 "July" is a 28 y”

| IRS990/Desc | 0 | Stork BusesSave the Storks exists to partner with pregnancy resource centers and give abortion-vulnerable women a choice that will change their lives forever. We come alongside pregnancy resource centers all over the nation, providing them with powerful tools and training to more effectively connect with those women in their communities. With the support of donors, and in conjunction with our affiliate pregnancy resource centers, we have built Stork Buses (mobile medical units) that reach women near abortion clinics, on college campuses, in rural areas and inner cities. (continued on Schedule O)Save the Storks believes that going mobile is one of the most effective strategies for reaching abortion-vulnerable mothers. We've seen Stork Buses profoundly expand the reach and increase the impact of pregnancy resource centers all over the nation. These mobile medical units minimize the distance between the PRC and the women most in need of the services. The first year we had a Stork Bus on the road, we saw 394 women make a decision for life for their babies. In 2017, four out of five women who boarded a Stork Bus, saw their baby on the ultrasound and heard the heartbeat, chose life, according to reports provided by participating affiliate PRCs. We signed seven new pregnancy resource center affiliates in 2017, delivered 10 Stork Buses and ended 2017 with a total of 33 Stork Buses at our affiliate PRCs. |

| IRS990/ProgSrvcAccomActy3Grp/Desc | 0 | Stork Works ConsultingIn 2017, Stork Works Consulting conducted 16 trainings or consultations for pregnancy resource centers and life-minded organizations. Of those, 16 were given grants to supplement the cost of the training. Eleven of the trainings were specific to mobile ministry, and two focused on strategic planning. Two trainings were related to adding ultrasound services and one was a sidewalk counseling training. At the end of 2017 we began planning for the expansion of the consulting/training division of Save the Storks to include our first annual Intensive Conference in 2018. (continued on Schedule O)Adding Ultrasound training takes a non-medical pregnancy center through the process of the addition of ultrasound services. We walk them through the legalities, policy and procedures, and who and how to hire for professional medical services.ABCs of Going Mobile training equips centers with the ability to run a successful mobile ministry. We spend 1.5 days on-site at the center teaching them when and where to park their mobile unit, the unique aspects of mobile ministry, fundraising techniques, and important aspects for thriving in mobile ministry. StratOp is a 3 day on-site strategic planning consultation designed to effectively implement long term strategic goals and current operational strategies for pregnancy centers. This is done with the board and Executive Staff. |
