KEVIN SPENCER, WIDELY CONSIDERED TO BE THE LEADING AUTHORITY OF THE THERAPEUTIC USE OF MAGIC, WAS IN TOWN FOR A WEEK PROVIDING OUTREACH TO 12 LOCAL SCHOOLS AND HOSPITALS. IN 2013, WE WERE ABLE TO EXTEND THE PAVILION'S OUTREACH TO 20 AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS, BRINGING OUR RESOURCES TO KIDS THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY. AASP PROVIDED WEEKLY OUTREACH OPPORTUNITIES TO STUDENTS AT THE MULTICULTURAL CENTER, JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER, BOWDEN YOUTH CENTER, THE YMCA AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM (AT 3 MIDDLE SCHOOLS), 10 KIDS' INC. SITES AT LOCAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS AND THE VOLUNTEERS OF AMERICA YOUTH CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY UNIT.
