IN 2014, THE BALTIMORE COMMUNITY TOOLBANK MADE THE FOLLOWING IMPACT IN THE MID ATLANTIC THROUGH ITS TOOL LENDING PROGRAM: - RETAIL VALUE OF TOOLS LENT: $917,040.81 - ACTUAL COST OF TOOLS LENT TO MEMBER AGENCIES: $16,548.58 - NUMBER OF VOLUNTEERS EMPOWERED: 21,482 - NUMBER OF PROJECTS EMPOWERED: 1,183 WITH AN INVENTORY OF 161 TOOL TYPES VALUED OVER $170,000. THE BALTIMORE COMMUNITY TOOL BANK AMPLIFIES SERVICE AND VOLUNTEER PROJECTS ACROSS MARYLAND'S CHARTIABLE SECTOR. MORE ORGANIZATIONS ARE EMPOWERED TO PERFORM MORE SERVICE PROJECTS WITH LARGER GROUPS OF VOLUNTEERS WHILE SPENDING LESS MONEY THANKS TO THE BALTIMORE COMMUNITY TOOLBANK.
