Mission

Carebox program provides free essential care supplies to cancer patients in central texas to help prevent malnutrition, infections, and injuries from falls. The program strives to provide items that prevent these common occurances as well as additional common risks and complications faced by cancer patients.

Carebox program provides essential care supplies to cancer patients to help prevent malnutrition, infections and injuries from falls. It is estimated that up to 20 percent of deaths of cancer patients result from malnutrition alone.

THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO PROVIDE ESSENTIAL CARE SUPPLIES THAT ARE NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE TO HELP PREVENT MALNUTRITION, INFECTIONS AND FALLS.PART III, LINE 2 & 3IN BOTH EARLY 2018 (FOR 2017 HOLIDAY CYCLE) AND LATE 2018 (FOR 2018 HOLIDAY CYCLE), CAREBOX PROGRAM SUBMITTED ONE OF ITS PATIENT FAMILIES AGAIN IN 2018 TO THE AUSTIN-AMERICAN STATESMAN SEASON FOR CARING COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAM. THESE FAMILIES WERE SELECTED BY THE STATESMAN ALLOWING CAREBOX PROGRAM TO PROVIDE A TOTAL OF $8,143 WORTH OF ITEMS AND SERVICES TO THESE DESERVING FAMILIES OF 3 AND 4 RESPECTIVELY.
