“Working with the consolation center of haiti (cch), an orphanage which houses 88 girls. They are providing food and education, as well as, implemented a regular bibile study and church services for the students, pre-k through 10th grade. Also involved with village of hope, in collaboration with goserv global, housing approximately 200 individuals in 60 homes. During 2018, new families were placed for temporary housing. Laborers with christs also assists with three additional projects in haiti. James 1:27 is a widow and infant center that houses 5 widows and 12 babies, and two displaced families. The joshua house, which is 65 boys within 12 homes. Finally, the center of help orphanage housing 37 girls and boys. 2018 was a year of continuation of using donated funds to help rebuild from hurricane matthew (october 2016). A final completion took place on the agricultural projects, and we are now at a steady operationinal phase. Some examples would be completion of a new tank system at the fish project, and an addition to the shade house. Our capacity at the center of help (coh) is regualr monthly support and mainteneance of the orphanage. Helping with electrical, water, and spiritual support to increase the standard of living, and spiritual awareness for the orphans and staff who live at that location.”
“Continued support for the faagric program (faith agriculture) in nigeria, west africa. They have educated more than 1000 participants in self- sustainable agriculture, and the importance of a strong nutritional diet. The project has provided the knowledge and ability to make the locally grown vegetables available in local markets, which has sparked interest of others in the communities who purchase them. This has stimulated individuals to want to consume the vegetables and receive the additional health benefits. During 2018, we have been informed of increased awareness and appreciation for agriculture and nutrition. We get regular updates from students and teachers involved in faagric, who have benefited greatly from the material offered freely to all. There also is ongoing expansion to new areas as those new areas hear of what's going on.”
