They are providing food and education, as well as, implemented regular bible study and church services for 400 students, pre-k through 9th grade. Also involved with village of hope, in collaboration with goserv global, housing approximately 240 individuals in 60 homes. During 2016, new families were placed for temporary housing. Joshua project houses 65 boys within 12 homes. Finally, center of help orphanage houses 37 girls and boys. A notable accomplishment in haiti during 2016 was the assistance given in helping with hurricane matthew recovery. Approximately 75,000 was given to laborers with christ to be used towards hurricane recovery and this is being used in orphanage rebuilding, agricultural structures, replanting crops, and community recovery. Most of the donations were given in december of 2016 and the hurricane recovery will continue into 2017.”
“Continuing support for their faagric program (faith agriculture) in nigeria, west africa. They have educated more than 650 participants about self-sustaining agriculture, and about eating a nutritional diet. The project has provided the ability to make the self-sustaining agriculture available in local markets, which has sparked interest of others in the communities to purchase them. This has stimulated individuals to want to consume the self-sustainable agriculture and receive the additional health benefits. During 2016, there was an addition of two learning centers. This puts total learning centers at eight. A highlight this year has been the addition of a faagric vegetable stand at the local market.”
