Each board member evaluates his/her compliance with the regard to conflicts of interest on an annual basis.

The hr committee gathers and analyzes revelant salary data and the hr committee chairperson presents the appropriate executive director salary range to the executive committee of the board of directors. The executive director completes a self-evaluation form. The board members complete an executive director evaluation form. The executive committee of the board meets to compile/review evaluation forms and put together salary and goal recommendations. The recommendation is agreed upon and signed by the executive committee members. The recommendation from the executive committee is put before the full board at a full board meeting. Motion by board members not on the executive committee and vote for approval is required. The executive committee and hr committee chairperson meet with executive director to review board approved salary recommendation from the executive committee of the board. Key employees receive an annual performance review from executive director. The hr committee gathers data to provide salary ranges. The executive director determines compensation based on data and approved budget.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

The organization follows fasb asc topic 740, uncertainty in income taxes. The organization is recognized by the internal revenue service as a not-for-profit organization under irs code section 501(c)(3). Due to the not-for-profit nature and provision of the organization, all income and expenses attributable to the mission of the organization are tax exempt and accordingly no provision or liability for income taxes have been made in the financial statements and contributions to the organization are tax deductible to donors as allowed by irs regulations. However, the organization is required to pay state and federal income taxes on unrelated business income. If the organization were to engage in any activities that resulted in unrelated business income, a tax would be assessed on that activity. The organization is open and subject to examination generally for three years after the filing date.

THROUGH OUR PRODUCTIONS, VOLUNTEERS CREATE SOCIAL CONNECTIONS WHILE AUDIENCES HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO GATHER WITH FRIENDS, FAMILY AND CO-WORKERS TO BE ENTERTAINED. OUR EDUCATION AND OUTREACH PROGRAMMING PATHWAYS ARE CREATED FOR YOUTH TO ENGAGE IN ARTS, BUILD CONFIDENCE, STRENGTHEN LEADERSHIP AND TEAMWORK SKILLS, AND DEEPEN RELATIONSHIPS.
