For employees, the conflict of interest policy is signed at the time of hire and continually monitored thereafter by management through open discussion, especially for employees with the ability to enter into contracts on behalf of the organization. For the board of directors, members are required to annually disclose conflicts of interest during the annual board of directors meeting. If any conflicts of interest were to arise, the relationship and contract would be terminated.”
