Mission

Camp Sue Osborn is dedicated to providing meaningful camping, recreational and social experiences for individuals with special needs from Lake and Geauga counties in Ohio. Each year CSO offers 2 weeks of day camp, 1 week of residence camp and 4 days of alumni camp to individuals with all forms of mental and physical disabilities.

Camp Sue Osborn is a seasonal operation. Program directors work only during the camping season. Some officers and trustees are paid to work various staff positions at camp. The amount of compensation is determined by the position pay scale used to compensate all other camp staff.

The program generated 39,537 in the form of camper fees charged. In addition to camper fees, program support was also provided by Lake and Geauga United Way allocations, individual and corporate donations, investment income, and fundraising activities.
