“The association annually evaluates for uncertainty in income taxes to enable appropriate presentation in its financial statements. This assessment includes consideration of the recognition and measurement of a tax position taken or expected to be taken in a tax return as well as de-recognition, classification, interest and penalties, accounting in interim periods, disclosure and transition accounting. For the association the assessment also includes consideration of unrelated business income, related deductions applied, or other activities that could jeopardize the tax exempt status and thus meet the definition of an uncertain tax position. The association's income tax returns prior to fiscal year 2011 are closed. No tax accrual was recorded as management believes there are no uncertain tax positions for the association.”
