Let's get ready, inc. Provides high school students from low-income backgrounds with free sat preparation, admissions counseling and other support services needed to gain admission to and graduate from college. Services are provided by volunteer college students.

“It is the policy of let's get ready that the audit committee is responsible for the final review of internal revenue service form 990 that is to be filed on behalf of the organization. Upon review of the audit committee, the form 990 shall be presented to the board of directors for board approval for filing with the irs. A board resolution is not required in order for the form 990 to be filed, provided that the board's approval of the form 990 for filing is in accordance with the requirements for action by the board and is otherwise recorded in the minutes of the organization. Directors may receive the form 990 as hard copies (mailed or hand-delivered) or electronic files (sent via e-mail).”

The finance committee meets independent of ceo to discuss ceo's performance relative to the position's description. During these deliberations, the finance committee reviews all aspects of ceo's performance as well as the overall performance of the organization in the prior year. Once consensus is reached regarding ceo's performance, the appropriate compensation will be determined based on compensation data for similarly qualified persons in comparable positions at similarly situated organizations.”
