All board members are engaged in soliciting contributions and especially encouraging estate bequests. The Foundation holds an annual open house fundraising event which is open to the public. The Foundation's website provides a substantial amount of information and provides a vehicle for donors to make contributions. All members of the Foundation's governing Board of Trustees actively promote and support the Foundation's mission statement which promotes and represents the broad interests of the general public.The Foundation has been successful in recent years in being the recipient of donation support from various estate bequests. Many have been sizable and therefore increase the 2% public support exclusion. However. they are one-time only amounts from unrelated persons.
