The mission of troy main street is to coordinate the efforts of all those dedicated to making downtown troy a better place to live, work, shop, celebrate, and invest.”

“Thanks, wade, and thank you all for coming this evening. 2018 was a great year for troy main street, for the downtown, and for the community. In 2018, troy main street: held 8 free business training sessions led by local and regional experts on topics ranging from storefront design, inventory management, bookkeeping, and hospitality; placed 62 pots filled with flowers along downtown sidewalks and storefronts; partnered with over 20 local non-profit organizations to increase their exposure, keep the downtown litter free, and offer activities to the community; worked alongside troy city schools to create the new winter banners that line the downtown; and provided free professional photography to our business members and sponsors. In 2018, troy main street nominated troy as ohio magazines best hometown and won. We also nominated a downtown business for heritage ohios main street business of the year award and won. We know we have the greatest downtown, and its great when others know that, too. In 2018, troy main street also hosted 39 days of events, many of which you will see represented around the room today.
