Annual statements are required for all board members. All board members' annual statements are reviewed by the board chair, with the exception of the chair's report, which is reviewed by the secretary of the board. The board is empowered to take disciplinary/corrective action regarding any conflicts of interest which have not been appropriately approved and considered by non-interested members of the board.

Executive compensation is evaluated each year in december by the executive committee of the board utilizing predetermined criteria, including the organization's operating results, the executive director's job description, and his/her work plan.
