The form 990 is initially reviewed by the executive director and is then reviewed by the full board prior to submission with the irs.

Form 990, Part VI, Line 12C

Annual statements are required for all board members. All board members annual statements are reviewed by the board chair, with the exception of the chairs report, which is reviewed by the secretary of the board. The board is empowered to take disciplinary/corrective action regarding any conflicts of interest which have not been appropriately approved and considered by non-interested members of the board.

Executive compensation is evaluated each year in december by the executive committee of the board utilizing predetermined criteria, including the organizations operating results, the executive directors job description, and his/her work plan. The results of the evaluation may be used to determine whether or not the executive directors salary should be increased.

Endowment funds are established to provide student scholarships to recipients and to provide assistance to certain non-profit organizations.
