Clear path evaluates all significant tax positions as required by accounting principles generally accepted in the united states of america. As of december 31, 2018 and 2017, clear path does not believe that it has taken any tax position that would require the recording of any additional tax liability nor does it believe that there are any unrealized tax benefits that would either increase or decrease within the next year, including the determination that clear path maintains its tax exempt status. The tax years open to examination by federal and new york state taxing authorities are 2015 through 2018.
