Information through our office personnel is first cleared there, before given out to anyone, because of fighting against human traffickers, child abusers and various criminals who profit off of these victims. “When I filed the 2019 return I was working 12 to 15 hour days running two charities as Pastor /President /Counselor/Manager and meeting a filing deadline I had set for myself. I finished this return very late one night and sent it in without double checking my entries which I planned to do the next morning, which never happened with emergency issues starting early the next day. I became aware of mistakes late in 2020 through our nonprofit service GuideStar in their reporting of basically a loss of $9800 in expenses over revenue. I knew that was incorrect according to my P&L / Balance Sheets for 2019 so I have been trying to send in an amended return since February 2021 and discovered how just this last week. After correcting a few smaller mistakes in revenue and the larger one in expenses (I must have been really tired) the return will show a giant profit of $28 for the year 2019 in revenue over expenses. When GuideStar receives the amended return they can correct their reporting to the public and Donors who use their service and provide a correct picture of our nonprofit. I need it too to finish filing our 990 return for 2020...a very difficult year for us without being able to do fundraising at all and as stated only recently understanding why the loss of some donors.”
