“The Form 990 was prepared by the outside accountants and reviewed by senior management. The form was also reviewed by the board of directors prior to filing with the IRS.”

“The conflict of interest policy is distributed annually to all staff members and board of directors for review. The staff members and board of directors are required to sign the document stating that they have reviewed the policy and disclosed any interest, as applicable. If a conflict of interest arises, the conflicted member recuses themselves from discussion and voting on the matter.”

“Hispanic Access Foundation's board of directors determines the President & CEO's compensation. The board researched comparable positions in the Washington, DC area, and the President & CEO's salary history. The compensation committee met and made the final decision for the President & CEO's salary. THe final outcome of the board's deliberation and decision was documented in an email to the President & CEO or in Minutes of the Board of Directors Meeting.”

“OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 4: Hispanic Leadership Network - Launched in 2018, the Hispanic Leadership Network is a mentoring and leadership program to support young, mid-career and experienced latino pastors serving high-need rural and urban congregations across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. The program will help to enhance the ability of pastors to serve the unique needs of latino congregations and support them in key transition moments in their career. By building a peer support network and undertaking an intensive, customized program of leadership training and reflection, the participants will be better prepared to lead initiatives and church programs that enhance the vitality of their conregations and serve the unique needs of multigenerational latino communities. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 5: Health - This is a vaccination Hesitancy Program Through Health Service and Resources Administration (HRSA) began November 1, 2021. Hispanic Access Foundation utilized the first three months for planning, strategy and piloting the program. In Early December, Hispanic Access Foundation Brought some of its key community advisors to December to experience a pilot clinic. From that pilot clinic, Hispanic Access Foundation established a manual for implementation of the program at other locations. In addition, Hispanic Access Foundation selected all supervisors for each site. The total for the HRSA project was 10,325 vaccinations that included boosters and first time. We reached over 350,000 people through 900 outreach activities from a heavy Latino/Spanish speaking dominant community.”
