As such the executive director reports directly to the president/ceo of wyandot behavioral health network, inc. From time to time the president/ceo conducts a performance review and may award a merit increase to the executive director at his discretion within budget guidelines. Line 15b: annual performance reviews are typically conducted in october for employees who were employed prior to jan 1 of that year. The ceo evaluates the performance of his direct reports. Within the framework of the overall amount budgeted for salary increases and cash flow projections being stable, he may elect to give his staff the same percentage of merit increase that all satisfactory employees are entitled to.”

“Due to the covid 19 pandemic, face to face services were limited. Implementation of telehealth services was conducted. Due to the school district going virtual since march 2020, new referrals were down 50% for children coming into services compared to previous years. Children did not respond well to telehealh services and therapy and case management saw significant reduction in duration of services. Many families had limited phone plans and were reluctant to allow their child to use those minutes for mental health services. Since march, a large number of staff members had to quarantine due to exposure to covid-19, so those staff members were unable to provide services while under quarantine. The purchase of ppe, air purification systems and other safety measures were made to decrease the risk of exposure and spread of covid to staff and clients.”

“Paces provides care to wyandotte county youth through case management, individual and family therapy, medication management and psychosocial programming. In partnership with usd 500, paces operates wyandot academy and project success (outreach and continuity of care). Paces also partners with the unified govt of kansas city, ks and wyandotte county in providing services to youth at risk of legal intervention, group therapy for detained youth and an emergency shelter for children in police protective custody. Paces served a total of 2,358 kids. Two innovative new programs were launched: one that provides therapy to 3-5 yr old kids and their families and one that places therapists with select public schools.”
