Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11B

Upon gathering the proper information necessary, an independent cpa firm will prepare the form 990. Upon completion of the form 990, the firm will review the form in detail with the coo of the foundation. After any necessary changes are made, the final form 990 will be forwarded to all board members before it is filed with the irs.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12C

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15

Salaries were determined by using comparable data researched and recorded per a review of similarly situated exempt organization's on guidestar and charity navigator. To determine gary seacrest's (board member and officer) salary, a reasonable compensation study was prepared by a specialist to establish a reasonable compensation range using comparable salary data for legal and general counsel of similarly situated exempt organizations, as mr. Seacrest is a licensed attorney. The board reviewed this compensation study when establishing the salary paid to gary seacrest. In determining meredith seacrest's (top management official) salary, the board engaged an outside, independent specialist to provide a reasonable compensation memo regarding the compensation amount paid. The board reviewed this memo, along with comparable data, to determine that the salary was reasonable and comparable to top management official salary in similarly situated entities.

Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19

The organization's form 990, form 1023 and governing documents are available upon request.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

Management performs an evaluation of all income tax positions taken or expected to be taken in the course of preparing the foundation's income tax return to determine whether the income tax positions meet a "more likely than not" standard of being sustained under examination by the applicable taxing authorities. Management has performed its evaluation of all income tax positions taken on all open income tax returns and has determined that there were no positions taken that do not meet the "more likely than not" standard. Accordingly, there were no provisions for income taxes, penalties or interest receivable or payable relating to uncertain income tax positions in the accompanying financial statements.

IRS990/Desc0THE RYAN SEACREST FOUNDATION'S FIRST INITIATIVE IS TO BUILD BROADCAST MEDIA CENTERS, NAMED SEACREST STUDIOS, WITHIN PEDIATRIC HOSPITALS FOR PATIENTS TO EXPLORE THE CREATIVE REALMS OF RADIO, TELEVISION AND NEW MEDIA. THE AIM OF SEACREST STUDIOS IS TO CONTRIBUTE POSITIVELY TO THE HEALING PROCESS FOR THE CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES DURING THEIR STAY BY DEVELOPING THESE CENTERS TO BRING AN UPLIFTING SPIRIT TO THE HOSPITAL COMMUNITY. WE BELIEVE ACCESS TO MULTIMEDIA EXPERIENCES WILL BRING PATIENTS EXCITING AND STIMULATING ADVENTURES AND ENCOURAGE OPTIMISTIC THOUGHTS DURING TREATMENT. THE FOUNDATION BRINGS SPECIAL GUESTS AND CELEBRITIES TO THE BROADCAST MEDIA CENTERS FOR PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES TO MEET, INTERVIEW AND WATCH PERFORM. SINCE THE INCEPTION OF THE FOUNDATION, OVER 1,000 CELEBRITY GUESTS HAVE VISITED THE 11 SEACREST STUDIOS. IN ADDITION TO CELEBRITY VISITS, THE PROGRAMMING OF EACH STUDIO ALLOWS PATIENTS TO PLAY GAMES, ENGAGE IN EDUCATIONAL SHOWS, HOST THEIR OWN RADIO AND TV SHOWS, PLUS MUCH MORE. PATIENTS HAVE THE ABILITY TO COME DOWN TO THE STUDIO TO PARTICIPATE OR THEY CAN WATCH THE PROGRAMMING FROM THE TV IN THEIR ROOM VIA A CLOSED-CIRCUIT NETWORK. THE FOUNDATION ALSO HAS CREATED THE ABILITY TO INTERCONNECT ALL OF THE SEACREST STUDIOS, SO PROGRAMMING CAN BE SHARED WITH HOSPITALS ALL OVER THE COUNTRY - A WIDELY USED FEATURE DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. IN 2020, THE FOUNDATION LAUNCHED ITS ELEVENTH SEACREST STUDIO AT ORLANDO HEALTH ARNOLD PALMER HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN. THE 1,200-SQUARE-FOOT, GLASS-ENCASED STUDIO IS LOCATED ON THE FIRST FLOOR OF ORLANDO HEALTH ARNOLD PALMER BY THE MAIN ATRIUM, ALLOWING PATIENTS AND VISITORS TO SEE PRODUCTION ACTIVITIES INSIDE. IN EARLY MARCH, RSF PIVOTED DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. THROUGHOUT THE GLOBAL CRISIS, ALL STUDIOS REMAINED OPEN DUE TO ONGOING SUPPORT VIA TECHNOLOGY PURCHASES AND UPGRADES FROM THE FOUNDATION. THESE PURCHASES ENSURED THE SUCCESS OF VIRTUAL VISITS AND PROGRAMMING. 2020 SAW 24 IN-PERSON TALENT VISITS FROM JANUARY TO MARCH, AND 202 RSF BOOKED VIRTUAL VISITS MARCH THROUGH DECEMBER. THE FOUNDATION ALSO MADE A MONETARY CONTRIBUTION TO ALL 11 STUDIOS TO SUPPORT THEIR PROGRAMMING AND EQUIPMENT NEEDS AND WORKED WITH TECHNOLOGY PARTNERS ON AN INCREASED NUMBER OF EQUIPMENT UPGRADES FOR OLDER STUDIOS. THE FOUNDATION ALSO PROVIDES ENGINEERING ASSISTANCE TO SUPPORT ALL STUDIOS FOR ANY TECHNOLOGY NEEDS THROUGHOUT THE COURSE OF THE YEAR.THROUGH A PARTNERSHIP WITH JAKKS PACIFIC, SEACREST STUDIOS NATIONWIDE RECEIVED THOUSANDS OF COSTUMES TO PROVIDE PATIENTS ON HALLOWEEN. JAKKS ALSO DONATED MORE THAN 3,000 TOYS PER STUDIO LOCATION, GIFTING OVER $500,000 WORTH OF TOYS. IRS990/MissionDesc0THE RYAN SEACREST FOUNDATION (RSF) IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO INSPIRING TODAY'S YOUTH THROUGH ENTERTAINMENT AND EDUCATION FOCUSED INITIATIVES. RSF'S FIRST INITIATIVE IS TO BUILD BROADCAST MEDIA CENTERS, NAMED SEACREST STUDIOS, WITHIN PEDIATRIC HOSPITALS FOR PATIENTS TO EXPLORE THE CREATIVE REALMS OF RADIO, TELEVISION, AND NEW MEDIA. THE AIM OF SEACREST STUDIOS IS TO CONTRIBUTE POSITIVELY TO THE HEALING PROCESS FOR CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES DURING THEIR STAY BY DEVELOPING THESE CENTERS TO BRING AN UPLIFTING SPIRIT TO THE HOSPITAL COMMUNITY. WE BELIEVE ACCESS TO MULTIMEDIA EXPERIENCES WILL BRING PATIENTS EXCITING AND STIMULATING ADVENTURES AND ENCOURAGE OPTIMISTIC THOUGHTS DURING TREATMENT.
