We do that by offering an integrated model of behavioral health and primary care that meets people where they are and gets them to where they want to be - achieving their best possible health and a life of meaning and purpose.

Partners In Recovery is a mental health treatment agency in five county-wide locations serving adults with chronic and severe mental illnesses with an approach emphasizing choice and consumer involvement.

Jewish Family and Childrens Services became a Class A Member during FY 14. All Class A Members now hold a 33 1/3 equity interest in Partners In Recovery.

Under an Operating Agreement between the Members of the Organization, the Organization has Class A Members and Class B Members. Class B Members do not have an economic interest in the Organization and are therefore not obligated to make capital contributions and do not have the right to participate in or receive distributions from the Organization or the obligation to contribute to the losses of the Organization. Class B Members do not have the right to vote on any matter submitted to the vote of the Members unless expressly provided for in the Operating Agreement. Each Member, both Class A and Class B may appoint three individual board directors.

Copies of the 990 and all related schedules are sent out to the entire Board of Directors for review. Any questions the Board might have are directed back to the Chief Financial Officer. The 990 is then discussed at a full board meeting and approved by the Board of Directors.

Enforcing agency policy on conflicts of interest is the responsibility of Partners in Recoverys Governance committee. This committee dedicates one meeting per year to 1 Ensure all conflict of interest statements have been received, 2 Ensure conflicts are fully understood and implications discussed and disposition agreed upon, 3 Ensure the board members with conflicts, if any, follow policy with respect to voting on matters that they may have a conflict with, and 4 Recommend enhancements to existing forms, policies and training related to conflicts of interest.
