Appleway utilizes a property management company (kiemle & hagood) to manage the appleway court 202 complex. Appleway utilizes two employees of rockwood retirement communities (parent company) as its chief executive officer and chief financial officer. These individuals spend an average of 1-2 hours per week on appleway duties.

A copy of the 990 is provided to the chief financial officer, who reviews the form, schedules, and related attachments. Any comments or questions are addressed with the preparer, and a revised draft is provided to the entire board for review. Final approval is given to the preparer before finalizing. Once the board and management are satisfied with the 990, the cfo signs the form 8879-eo authorizing the preparer to e-file the return.
