“Womensource is dedicated to encouraging personal and professional success to women and girls of all ages and backgrounds in northeast georgia by providing educational programs, including: brown bag lunch series (bbl)-monthly educational lunch program for women in a variety of subject areas. Womensource partners with area agencies serving women and/or children to help increase awareness and give attendees the opportunity to show their support. In 2013, 991 women attended the brown bag lunch series. Additionally, ten area agencies were able to provide awareness and receive support at these events. Financial series-womensource offered a free three-part series entitled "ages, stages & wages." the series educated 115 women on taking control of their finances in a variety of situations. Health series-womensource held a two-part health series where 50 women received information on diabetes and depression. This series is held annually and is free to all women. Movie screenings---in recognition of veteran's day, womensource hosted 38 women for a screening of the documentary "when women come marching home." the documentary highlighted the resourcefulness of seven amazing women who represented the first wave of mothers, daughters and sisters returning home from the frontless wars of iraq and afghanistan. Following the documentary four women veterans held a panel discussion and q&a session. Girl power--- a womensource event for teens and women who love them. The goals of the event are to help young women explore ways to better their self-esteem, encourage them to lead a confident, healthy lifestyle and empower them to take charge of their future. In 2013, 300 teens attended this event. Motivating women series--- in 2013 womensource hosted 218 women at the motivating women: encouraging professional and personal success with fawn germer, best-selling author, international speaker, and four time pulitzer prize nominee.”

FINANCIAL SERIES-WOMENSOURCE OFFERED A FREE THREE-PART SERIES ENTITLED "AGES, STAGES & WAGES." THE SERIES EDUCATED 115 WOMEN ON TAKING CONTROL OF THEIR FINANCES IN A VARIETY OF SITUATIONS. HEALTH SERIES-WOMENSOURCE HELD A TWO-PART HEALTH SERIES WHERE 50 WOMEN RECEIVED INFORMATION ON DIABETES AND DEPRESSION. THIS SERIES IS HELD ANNUALLY AND IS FREE TO ALL WOMEN. MOVIE SCREENINGS---IN RECOGNITION OF VETERAN'S DAY, WOMENSOURCE HOSTED 38 WOMEN FOR A SCREENING OF THE DOCUMENTARY "WHEN WOMEN COME MARCHING HOME." THE DOCUMENTARY HIGHLIGHTED THE RESOURCEFULNESS OF SEVEN AMAZING WOMEN WHO REPRESENTED THE FIRST WAVE OF MOTHERS, DAUGHTERS AND SISTERS RETURNING HOME FROM THE FRONTLESS WARS OF IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN. FOLLOWING THE DOCUMENTARY FOUR WOMEN VETERANS HELD A PANEL DISCUSSION AND Q&A SESSION. GIRL POWER--- A WOMENSOURCE EVENT FOR TEENS AND WOMEN WHO LOVE THEM.
