The executive committee consists of the chair, vice chair, secretary, treasurer, immediate past chair, and the chairpersons of the standing committees as defined in the bylaws. During intervals between meetings of the board of directors, the executive committee has and may exercise all powers of the board of directors in the management of the business and affairs of the organization, except that it may not amend or repeal the articles of incorporation or bylaws or elect directors.
