The executive committee consists of the chair, vice president, secretary, treasurer, immediate past president, and the chairpersons of the standing committees as defined in the bylaws. During intervals between meetings of the board of directors, the executive committee has and may exercise all powers of the board of directors in the management of the business and affairs of the organization, except that it may not amend or repeal the articles of incorporation or bylaws or elect directors.

Mcpherson housing coalition board of directors compares the executive director's salary to a city of mcpherson compensation study and to compensation for comparable positions on the open market.
