The organization seeks to increase the availability of affordable, safe, quality housing; improve community quality of life and economic vitality; promote self-sufficiency and asset development of families and individuals; and ensure equal opportunity in housing.

Mcpherson housing coalition is a non-profit organization working to bring more decent, affordable housing to mcpherson county, kansas.

THE EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANT (ESG) IS PROVIDED TO ASSIST WITH THE ORGANIZATIONS INITIATIVE OF PROVIDING RESIDENCE WHO ARE AT RISK OF BECOMING HOMELESS. THE ORGANIZATION WILL FUND FOR BACK RENT, RENT, BACK UTILITIES, UTILITIES AND SERVICES TO HELP FAMILIES GAIN STABILITY IN THEIR CURRENT HOUSING ENVIRONMENT. THE ESG PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO IDENTIFY SHELTERED AND UNSHELTERED HOMELESS PERSONS, AS WELL AS THOSE AT RISK OF HOMELESSNESS, AND PROVIDE THE SERVICES NECESSARY TO HELP THOSE PERSONS QUICKLY REGAIN STABILITY IN PERMANENT HOUSING AFTER EXPERIENCING A HOUSING CRISIS AND/OR HOMELESSNESS.$0$40,372
