“Conflict of int., whistleblower & document retention and destruction: bhi retirement communities does not have a conflict of interest, whistleblower or document retention and destruction policy because all employees are paid by bhi senior living, inc, which has and enforces the previously named policies annually. Prior to the annual meeting, bhi senior living, inc, requires each board member and key staff to complete a conflict of interest form. The forms are reviewed by the corporate compliance officer, who reports the findings to the compliance committee of the board. Any notations on the form are reviewed and approved by the committee, which in turn reports the potential conflicts to the board for review and approval.”
