During the tax year the foundation amended its bylaws to: - include that all members of the board will have a vote. - include the president/ceo as an ex-officio member with vote. - include that officers elected or appointed will have a two year term. - include texas pharmacists, pharmacy professionals, and other interested individuals or organizations who provide financial support will be considered members of the foundation. - state the foundation updated purpose which is to obtain and direct funding and/or other contributions in order to help support the museum dedicated to the history of the pharmacy profession in texas. - show the revised composition of the board of trustees, which changed from twelve elected by the board, and five appointed by the association, to seven elected by the board, eight appointed, two of which will be appointed by the association. - state that the chair shall be authorized to use six officers of the executive committee when decisions must be expedited and/or full board quorums are not met. - updated the elections process so that the board has the ability to submit nominees and select individuals to fill expiring or vacant positions
