Mission

To provide high-quality clothing to those experiencing clothing insecurity in a respectful manner, aiding their stability and financial independence. By combining clothing with educational and coaching opportunities, we help individuals advance in their careers and continue on their path to financial independence. The program operates six locations across philadelphia, delaware, montgomery, and chester counties. For those unable to visit a site, we offer the wardrobe box, a free, personally styled clothing box mailed directly to their home, ensuring accessibility for all participants.

IN 2016, 1264INDIVIDUALS PARTICIPATED IN 158 EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS OFFERED BYCAREER WARDROBE. THIS WAS A 60% INCREASE OVER THE PRIOR YEAR'SSERVICE NUMBERS THANKS TO A NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH THE ELECTPROGRAM OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF PHILADELPHIA WHICH PROVIDESCAREER SERVICES TO PREGNANT AND PARENTING TEENS WHO ARE ARENOT PURSUING COLLEGE EDUCATION AFTER GRADUATION. INDIVIDUALSWHO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF CAREER WARDROBE'S EDUCATION PROGRAM REPORTEDUCATION AND SELFSUFFICIENCY RATES WITH 64% REPORTING THEYSUCCESSFULLY SECURED EMPLOYMENT AND 77% WERE NO LONGERRECEIVING GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE ONCE EMPLOYED.
