We share trauma-informed yoga and meditation with people involved in the criminal justice system to promote rehabilitation, personal transformation, and a more just society for all.

Yoga Behind Bars shares yoga and meditation with incarcerated youth, women, and men; offers trauma-informed yoga trainings; and provides yoga teacher trainings for incarcerated people.

Included in these facilities were three new programs for men housed at Coyote Ridge Corrections Center, Washington State Penitentiary, and Airway Heights. We provided 1,999 hours of trauma-informed yoga and meditation instruction, a $139,125 in-kind donation by our volunteer instructors.
