Founded in october 2006, the new venture fund ("nvf") is a 501(c)(3)public charitable organization dedicated to supporting innovative andeffective public interest projects. The organization currently managesprograms, provides fiscal sponsorships to nonprofit organizations, and coordinates grants programs. Nvf supports a range of public interest projects, the majority of which focus on conservation, global development and health, and education. Nvf has also managed programs focused on civic engagement, economic policy, disaster recovery, and music and the arts.
