“In 2019, clowns without borders reached a total of 21,517 displaced people through 123 performances and 30 workshops. Clowns without borders primary activities were in 11 countries. Cwb also led workshops for artists in sweden and the united states. Balkans: february 28 - march 18, performances in bosnia, serbia, and romania for migrants and asylum seekers. Mexico: january 10-14, march 11-19, two tours to tijuana to perform for migrants and asylum seekers. Guatemala: march 15-24, workshops for psychologists and teachers as part of recovery from the 2018 volcanic eruption. Training for artists and performances for communities impacted by the eruption of volcan de fuego. West bank, israel / palestine: march 16 - april 2 & october 7-22, workshops for local artists and performances in refugee camps.
