For our major reports, we seek authors involved to write, research and summarize results who have not had a paid relationship with any of the vendors in the study for a period of two years prior to the study. No general operating support or donations are accepted from vendors. Idealware has a dedicated conflict of interest working group of its board, whose purpose is to proactively monitor any potential conflicts and adjust our processes and procedures as required.”

This process includes researching and reviewing salaries for comparable jobs, both in the nonprofit and for-profit sector.This was done in 2013 for our Director of Research and Operations and in 2010 for our Director of Editorial and Communications. Research on comparables is done upon hiring or any jump in salary beyond the percentage pay increase provided for all employees based on their performance review.”
